Andrew & Alyssa Flowers

Senior Pastor of ARC Southaven

Andrew Flowers graduated with a bachelor degree in pastoral theology from Gateway College in 2003. Andrew met Alyssa where they attended church and were married in 2010. They have served in student ministry for over eighteen years, on local level as a student pastor and a district level as youth secretary for the district of Tennessee for three years, and are serving as the pastor of ARC the past four years.

Andrew works as a branch manager for a financial institution. They are the proud parents of three daughters, Evelyn (Evy), Ellyson (Elly), Emersyn (Emy) and one son, Ean. Besides being extremely passionate about the Kingdom of God, Andrew and Alyssa enjoy spending their time with their family, connecting to people and traveling when possible.


David & Donna Flowers

Bishop of ARC Southaven

David graduated from Apostolic Missionary Institute and met his wife Donna while both attended college there. They began ministry together as pastors in Ontario before moving to Tennessee to pastor in Hendersonville.

David was the Tennessee District home missions secretary and Donna was the district’s Ladies Auxiliary president when they were appointed to Madagascar in 1987. After serving a term in Madagascar, they transferred to Malawi in 1993. In 1996, the Foreign Missions Board expanded the Flowers’ appointment to include Mozambique and appointed him the Mozambican field superintendent in 1998. In 2002, his appointment was changed to the nation of South Africa where he worked with the South Africa Bible Institute (SABI) until he was transferred to the Philippines in 2009.

Upon retirement in 2017, he and Donna went back to Memphis, TN where they are excited to be working with their son, Andrew, in the Apostolic Revival Church of Southaven, MS. 

Kendal & Yvonne’ Thomas

Administrative Pastor of ARC Southaven

Kendal Thomas attended both Jackson College of Ministries and Gateway College of Evangelism where he studied Theology.  He met Yvonne’ in Jackson and they were married the next year in 2006.  From the outset of their marriage they have served in ministerial roles within student ministries, Sunday School, music, and any other role needed for the last 15 years.  Serving the Kingdom of God comes naturally for Yvonne’ as she is the granddaughter of Rev. Vondas Smith, a multiple church planter and missionary to the country of Boliva, South America.

 

They have 2 daughters, Amidei and Abigail.  As a family, they enjoy traveling, going to live theatre and ballet, and camping. 

Michael & Chera Grady

Youth Pastors of ARC Southaven

Michael has been a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International since 2017. Michael met Chera through a church function in Memphis, TN, and they were married in 2019. They have one daughter, Aurora Joy. Prior to marriage, Michael served as the Assistant Pastor, Youth Pastor, and ACTS Director at The River UPC in Freeport, TX for two years. After marriage, both Michael and Chera have served on the local level as Hyphen Director and Youth Pastor. In addition, both have served in worship ministry.
Chera has been involved in ministry her whole life as the daughter of Pastor Steve Edwards. She also attended Indiana Bible College where she majored in Biblical Studies. Both enjoy traveling and spending time with their daughter and family when not involved in ministry.
